Bleak is a small schooling fish near the surface. It is not a trophy target, but it helps beginners learn bites and light tackle.
Beginner idea: do not try every method at once. Pick one method, understand depth, wind, and fish behaviour, then add complexity.
Look near drop-offs, quiet bays, rocks, vegetation, and visible feeding areas.
Compare body shape, fins, mouth, and colours with the photo before handling the fish.
Start with: float fishing, ultralight tackle, animal bait, vegetable bait. Keep the session simple, check depth, and move if bites do not come.
